The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Key Features

  • 40X to 1000X magnification range for studying a range of specimens including hair follicles, cells, and bacteria.
  • Dual-illumination with full poarization for transmitted and reflected light
  • Equipped with a Bertrand lens for conoscopic observation of interference patterns
  • Rotating stage with centering, and two-axis mechanical caliper for proper specimen centering
  • Centerable strain-free objective lenses ensure proper alignment with no self-induced artifacts
  • Infinity-corrected optical system reduces distortion and improves color accuracy.
  • The Koehler illumination system provides centered, evenly-distributed lighting with a field aperture for maximum contrast and definition.
  • The trinocular head provides a dedicated photo port for mounting a camera.
  • Includes an ultra-sensitive 0.4MP USB 3.0 camera with global-shutter technology and specialized microscopy software for PC, Mac, and Linux

The PZ620T is an upright polarized-light microscope with transmitted and reflected light, and infinity-corrected, stress-free optics. Episcopic and sub-stage polarizers offer polarization of both light-sources, allowing this microscope to be used for metallurgical, mineralogical, and biological applications. The quintuple nosepiece with centerable ports can hold five of the seven included plan-achromatic objective lenses, which can be alternated depending on the application. The addition of a Bertrand lens allows easy viewing of conoscopic interference patterns. The analyzer features a full-range dial for adjustable cross-polarization. An assortment of retardation plates are included to further aid in analysis. The graduated, circular stage provides 360° of rotation for bi-refingence-testing, as well as a mechanical caliper for X-Y translation.
